ഇന്ത്യൻ പാർലമെന്റ് 2005 ൽ പാസ്സാക്കിയ വിവരാവകാശ നിയമം, പൊതുസമൂഹത്തിൽ പൗരന് വിവരം അറിയുവാൻ ഉപകാര പ്രദമാകും വിധം പ്രാവർത്തികമാക്കുവാൻ, ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സർക്കാർ/ അർദ്ധ സർക്കാർ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ, വിവിധ മേധാവികൾ, അതാതു സ്ഥാപനത്തിലെ വിവരാവകാശ ഓഫീസർമാർ (SPIO), വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ, പത്രമാധ്യമങ്ങൾ, സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ വഴിയും മറ്റും ഇടപെടലുകൾ നടത്തി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ഈ സംഘടനയുടെ പ്രഥമ ലക്‌ഷ്യം .

CORO (Club Of RTI Organization) offers a range of services aimed at promoting transparency and empowering citizens through the Right to Information Act, 2005. The organization conducts awareness campaigns, workshops, and training sessions to educate the public, especially students and youth, about their right to access information.

തിരുരങ്ങാടി PSMO കോളേജിൽ വെച്ചു വിവരാവകാശ സെമിനാറും, ക്ലബ്ഓഫ് RTI ഓർഗനൈസേഷൻ ( CORO ) എന്ന RTI സംഘത്തിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനോദ്‌ഘാടനം സംസ്ഥാന വിവരാവകാശ കമ്മീഷണർ ഡോ. എ. അബ്ദുൽ ഹക്കിം സർ നിർവഹിച്ചു. കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഇൻ ചാർജ് Lt.
